I've been coming here since 89' and the has always been spectacular! The service outstanding! And the new interior remodeling is so welcoming and clean. A+
For 5 years now, the food is still the same and hasn't changed one bit. They have expanded the dining area and that scared me at first because most of the time when a restaurant remodels, the taste of the food changes. BUT...... The food is still as amazing since my first time, my favorite appetizer, empanada, I always have to order at least 2 (Only for me). I've tried most of their main dishes and they have not disappointed me, all of the dishes are yummy!
Awesome food, we got some type of mix plate that came with a bunch of everything. Def must come back. also, their mango juice with milk is ????????????
Restaurant is Clean, bright, plenty of room, waitress are in uniform. Friendly and I was treated VIP...Believe me when I say the food is well cooked, tasty .. and served plenty. Music was happy, found myself tapping my foot! I will go there again...thank you ???? for the great service.
When walking in the restaurant they were already waiting to serve us. The sat us promptly and the food was fast and delicious. Loved the Picada truly it's a well served portion enough for leftovers.
Definitely I'm going to come back this restaurant. I had a delicious seafood soup and I wanna try some more dishes. Attention was awesome, friendly and lovely staff. The restaurant is clean and good atmosphere.
La Fogata is my favorite Colombian restaurant in Houston. I've been coming here for over 10 years with my father and with friends. The bandeja montañera is still a fantastic value for lunch and the food tastes just as great as I remember! The soups are very hearty and filling as well! The service can be a bit on the slow side, but it's almost always a full house when I come here so that's understandable.
Absolutely amazing service family and I came in after a long day and couldn’t have asked for a better wait staff . restaurant was busy even after close and all the girls were smiling ear to ear pleased to help and very alert with the orders being placed . food came out fast even when the restaurant was full . the food was amazing really gave a taste of Colombia back home . would recommend 10/10
Like eating straight in Colombia. Some of the best Colombian I've had. A little hole in the wall place and never would've known or tried if it wasn't for a.family member. Very friendly staff and food came out promptly... I got the picada , it says for two but alot more food . Lemonade is a MUST. Will definitely be coming back more often .
So... let me tell you... this place has been around forever and if you don't know, today is the day. Since COVID my wife and I have ordered for home delivery and have failed to post and rave about their amazing meals and accuracy. Our favorite is the Bandeja Paisa and the Beef Empanadas. Every time we order and have it delivered, everything is hot, fresh, and accurate. Avocado fresh, fried egg is perfect, all delicious. While we have our dinner and a bottle of wine, we always say... "I don't want it to end, I want more!"
